Christopher Dwayne Woods
The victim stated that he was approached by two males who demanded his mobile phone while walking on Delmar Road in Bayou Vista. When the victim refused, the two male subjects struck him and took the victim’s phone and money.
One of the suspects in the robbery, 19-year-old Vincent A. Thomas, Jr., was arrested Wednesday.
Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect, 21-year-old Christopher Dwayne Woods. Woods is wanted on a warrant for first degree robbery and simple battery. Woods is a Morgan City resident but is believed to frequent the Bayou Vista area. Anyone who may have information on his whereabouts may contact the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives division at 985-384-1622 or 337-828-1960.
