Hephaestus ball is Saturday

MORGAN CITY, La. -- The last ball of the local Mardi Gras season will be held Saturday when the Krewe of Hephaestus takes the stage.

Krewe officials remind ball patrons that events begin as scheduled and all viewers should be seated prior to the published start times.

The Krewe of Hephaestus, the oldest local krewe, will hold its tableau at 8 p.m. at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. This invitation-only event has free balcony viewing for the public.

Making an appearance will be King and Queen Hephaestus LII Warren Orlando and Caitlyn Bourgeois.
