LOREAUVILE _ Travis Jones can the game-winning shot with 1.2 seconds remaining, lifting the West St. Mary Wolfpack to a 50-48 District 6-2A win over the Loreauville Tigers here Friday, February 1 at the LHS Gym.

Jones, who led the Wolfpack in scoring with 14 points, drained a game-winning 3-point basket with a mere 1.2 seconds left to play in the thrilling league contest.

Jones’ game-winning three pointer sent the West St. Mary Wolfpack to its sixth straight District 6-2A victory.

Jones led the Wolfpack in scoring with 14 points on four treys and one deuce.

Glenn Marsh also finished in double digits for the Wolfpack with 13 points on a pair of 3-pointers, three deuces and 1 of 6 free throws.

Jeremiah White scored eight points while Christopher Jones contributed seven points to round out the scoring for the Wolfpack.

On Tuesday night, the Wolfpack edged past the Jeanerette Tigers to collect their seventh straight district win.

The Wolfpack will play host to Catholic High of New Iberia tonight in district action.
