Darlene White, 55, a resident of Berwick, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.

Darlene was born on March 21, 1957, in Morgan City, the daughter of Zeby Charpentier and Florence LaCoste.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, Florence Breaux of Berwick; two sons, Stephen Franks Jr. of Morgan City and Troy Franks of Jeanerette; eight grandchildren, Austin Franks, Kaitlyn Franks, Dave Sousa, Trent Franks, Stephen Franks III, Christian Franks, Dave Edward Franks and Payton Michael Franks; and one sister, Peggy Aucoin of New Iberia.

Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Zeby Charpentier; two grandsons, Chase Gerard Martin and Jeremiah Franks; and three brothers, Zeby Charpentier Jr., Seth Charpentier and Troy James Charpentier.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
