Hazel Harris, 83, a native and a resident of Morgan City, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Morgan City Healthcare at 12:41 a.m.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13 at Siracusa Recreation Center from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Hazel Mae leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Cain Harris of Morgan City; a son, Walter (Lorraine) Augustine Jr. of Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Ethel Marie) Carbins and Carolyn Escort, both of Morgan City; three brothers, Albert Watson and Raymond “RJ” (Gladys Marie) Ruffin, both of Morgan City, and Larry Watson of Breaux Bridge; seven sisters, Vera L. Jones, Elyven M. Bobb, Patsy A. O’Gwin, Kathryn R. Thomas, Helen Mae Collins and Caroline Green, all of Morgan City, and Joyce E. (Troy) Matthews of Shriever; three grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
