St. Mary Parish Chi Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International recently marked the society’s 72nd year of organizational existence. Delta Kappa is a professional honor society for women educators. In conjunction with the society’s celebration, Chi Chapter held its birthday celebration Feb. 7 at the home of Carolyn and Dawn Chaisson. The birthday committee organized a celebration paying tribute to Chi Chapter past presidents. In attendance were 12 past presidents.
