Rogers Anthony Solete Jr., 52, a native of New Orleans and resident of Franklin, died at 2:59 p.m. Sunday at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita M. Jones Solete of Franklin; mother, Stella Sylvester Lewis of Verdunville; two sons, Gregory Solete and Marcus Solete, both of Houston; two daughters, Whitney Solete and Earnesia Solete, both of Houston; two brothers, Gregory Solete of Patterson and D’White Scott of Houston; a sister, Tina Vidella Walter of Patterson; one granddaughter; and seven step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
