Chi Chapter gives Chez Hope, Claire House bags of blessings

St. Mary Parish Chi Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International presented Claire House with Bags of Blessings and Toys of Hope as part of the chapter’s outreach program. On hand for the presentation were Clarissa Adams, Claire House program director, and Chi Chapter members Carol St. Germain and Claire Guarisco.

Donations of books, toys and personal care items were collected at the annual Christmas social of Chi Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. Chi Chapter, an honorary women teachers’ organization in St. Mary Parish, promotes active member participation in community interest and outreach projects.

As part of its outreach program, members delivered Bags of Blessings and Toys of Hope to residents and their children at Claire House and Chez Hope.

Claire House and Chez Hope are facilities operating in St. Mary Parish serving women and children.
