U.S. Rep. Charles Boustany Jr., R-Lafayette, will make several appearances in St. Mary Parish Tuesday.

The tour begins with the seventh annual Farm Day Forum, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., at the West St. Mary Civic Center, 1472 La. 318, in Jeanerette.

Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry Mike Strain also will attend to speak on the current state of Louisiana agriculture and the path forward. Breakfast will be served.

Reservations to attend should be sent to BoustanyFarmDay@mail.house.gov.

Then, at 11 a.m., Boustany will attend a meeting with senior citizens in Morgan City. The event will take place at the St. Mary Senior Citizens Center, 4014 Chennault St., in Morgan City.

Finally, Boustany will meet with the Rotary Club in Franklin at noon. That meeting will take place at the Forest Restaurant, 1909 Main St., in Franklin.
