Thelma Kennerson, 72, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou LaBatre, Ala., died at her residence Sunday.

Survivors include a son, Glynn Jr.; her daughters, Glenda and Debbie; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and at 11 a.m. Thursday at Higher Ground Baptist Church in Irvington, Ala. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery.
