GRAND COTEAU — Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, in the funeral home chapel for James Theriot. Private interment will be at later date.

Deacon Kyle Faber will officiate the services.

James was resident of Sunset. He passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at his home in Sunset at the age of 74.

Survivors include his daughters, Melissa Duplechin and husband, Billy, of Cotton Port and Rita Leal and husband, Pedro, of Houston; three stepchildren, Donald, Harold and Angela Myers; a brother, David Theriot; his sisters, Gloria, Gertrude and Linda Theriot; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delphine and Rita LeBlanc Theriot; his wife, Anna Savoie Theriot; a daughter, Roxana Mtanyos; and a sister, Mary Alice Boudreaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
