Joseph was born on Jan. 10, 1940, in Dulac, the son of Alcide Boudoin and Marie Elise Liner.
Joseph will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Catherine Boudoin of Gibson; five sons, Alcide Joseph Boudoin and John Joseph Boudoin, both of Gibson, Joseph F. Boudoin Jr. and James Patrick Boudoin, both of Houma, and Anthony Arthur Boudoin of Tennessee; one daughter, Bridgette Boudoin of Morgan City; five stepchildren, Shawn Priestley, Kaylynn Michel, Helana Darnielle, Angel Lane and Mary Kay Merrill; 32 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Octavia Marie Holloway of Patterson; one brother-in-law, Gaston Gros; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide Boudoin and Marie Elise Liner Boudoin; grandson, James Patrick Boudoin Jr.; one sister, Justilia Gros; and one brother, Ernest Boudoin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Joseph will be entombed in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
