Visitation will be Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Berwick Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Shamaka Garrett of Patterson; four brothers: Zack Batiste Jr. of Dallas, Matthew Batiste of Morgan City, Mark Batiste of St. Martinville, and Carl Batiste of Jeanerette; two sisters, Lois Batiste and Diane Batiste, both of Patterson; and three grandchildren.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Houma-Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
