St. Mary Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Sunday who was featured in the St. Mary Parish’s Most Wanted story in November.

David Lenes Aucoin, 35, of Bank Street in New Iberia, was arrested at 10:27 p.m. Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear for driving under suspension.

He was also wanted regarding an Oct. 31 incident where he allegedly used stolen credit cards to purchase electronics at Walmart in Bayou Vista.

A deputy patrolling the Franklin area responded to a report of a reckless driver Sunday on U.S. 90. The deputy located the vehicle and observed it crossing the centerline and fog line. The deputy conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Aucoin who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving with a suspended driver’s license. Aucoin was taken to the parish jail and held.

Aucoin was also booked later on warrants for unauthorized use of a stolen access card and illegal possession of stolen things. No bail has been set.
