Jermaine Joseph Thomas, 33, of Plantation Drive, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on traffic charges. He was released after paying a $130 cash fine.
Donald. P. Williams, 29, of Calbert Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 11:21 a.m. on charges of failure to appear on traffic charges. He was turned over to Lafayette Parish officials.
Juvenile arrests Tuesday included:
A male, age 15, on a charge of resisting an officer by refusing to comply; a female, age 14, on a charge of simple battery; a 16-year-old female on a charge of simple battery; and a female, age 16, also charged with simple battery. All were released to guardians pending juvenile court.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Louie Barnett Jr., 50, of 10909 La. 87, Jeanerette, Monday at 9:06 a.m. on a warrant charging him with theft by fraud. He was held on $4,000 bond.
Paul Anthony Jones, 51, of 964 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, was arrested Monday at 12:31 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of monetary instrument abuse, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, probation violation and a Lafourche Parish failure to appear warrant on a charge of driving under suspension. No bond was set.
Casey Lopez, 31, of 1702 Kemper St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 6:10 p.m. on a Texas probation violation warrant. No bond was set.
Ludin Garcia, 18, of 45 Bailey’s Lane, Lot 163, Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 8:27 p.m. on charges of improper lane use, driving without a legal presence in the country and unlawful possession of fraudulent documents. No bond was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division officers reported three arrests Tuesday.
While patrolling in the Morgan City area officers observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn and conducted a traffic stop.
Brian Joseph Derouen, 25, of 128 Polaris St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 8:46 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of synthetic marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, violation of a drug free zone and transactions involving drug proceeds.
Kilo White, 23, of 901 Tall Timbers St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 8:46 p.m. on charges of second offense possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and violation of drug free zone.
Katherine Denise Helms, 32, of 128 Polaris St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 8:46 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and violation of drug free zone.
No bonds were set.
