VERMILION PARISH - An unrestrained Youngsville man was killed Wednesday morning when his pickup left a curve and overturned, ejecting him.

State Police said the accident happened about 4:20 a.m. on La. 82 at Gallet Road.

Troopers said 34-year-old Bryan Badon of Youngsville was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram east and failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the road causing his vehicle to overturn. Badon was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

It is unknown if impairment was a factor in the crash.
