Eleanor Edwards Carson, 96, a native of Franklin (St. Joseph Community) and a resident of Missouri City, Texas, died Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 3:05 p.m., at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memories three sons, James Carson Jr. of Franklin, Freddie Carson and Jeff Carson, both of Baldwin; two daughters, Geraldine Cesar of Missouri City and Mary Carson of Franklin; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
