Gregory “Greg” Jones Sr., 49, a native and resident of Jeanerette, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his residence at 9:35 a.m.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2 at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

Greg leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rebecca George Jones of Jeanerette; four sons, Gregory Jones Jr., Kendall N. George and Troy Fitzgerald Jones, all of Jeanerette, and Tarrin Germaine George of Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers, Clifford Schexnayder of Beaumont, Texas and Michael Schexnayder of Jeanerette; three sisters, Jackie Hogan, Olavee Clavelle and Judy Lewis, all of Jeanerette; six grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
