—Sherry L. Call, 40, of Joey Street in Patterson, was arrested at 2:58 a.m. today on a warrant from Louisiana Probation and Parole for a probation violation. A deputy conducting a traffic stop for a stop sign violation on Venus Road in Bayou Vista identified the driver as Call. The deputy conducted a warrants check and was advised of the warrant for Call’s arrest. Call was taken to the parish jail and held. No bail is set.
—Randy Clark, 26, of Friendship Alley in Amelia, was arrested at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
—Frank Johnson, 46, of Maine Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday for possession of marijuana.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics division detectives patrolling the area of Fifth and Maine streets in Morgan City made contact with two people who were standing in the roadway on Maine Street. Upon making contact with them, they were identified as Johnson and Clark. Detectives received consent to search them and located marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia, the report stated. Both were released on summonses to appear in court on June 12.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrests:
—James Wilkie, 50, of Neptune Street in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday for disturbing the peace intoxicated third offense and open alcohol container. He was taken to jail and held with bail set at $410.
—Kilo Edwards, 21, of West Park Avenue in Houma, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and license plate light required. He was taken to jail and is awaiting bail.
Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrest:
—Wilson Taylor Guenard, 21, of Slidell, was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday for a probation violation. Officers located Guenard at the clerk of court’s office. He was originally placed on probation after being convicted of possession of marijuana. He was taken to jail and released after posting $500 bail.
