AMELIA — The two-day Central Catholic softball tournament will begin Friday at the Amelia Recreation Center.

The nine-team tournament will feature games on two fields.

In addition to Central Catholic, South Lafourche, Houma Christian, St. Martinville, Centerville, Ellender, West St. Mary, Assembly Christian and Thibodaux will participate.

Friday’s action will begin with Central Catholic facing South Lafourche at 3:30 p.m. on Field 1, while Houma Christian will face St. Martinville at 5:30 p.m. and Central Catholic will conclude the first day with a 7:30 p.m. matchup against Centerville.

On Field 2, Ellender will face Centerville at 4 p.m., while West St. Mary will play Assembly Christian at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, Thibodaux and West St. Mary will open play on Field 1 at 10 a.m., while Houma Christian and Centerville will follow at noon.

At 2 p.m., West St. Mary will face South Lafourche, while at 4 p.m., Central Catholic will play Houma Christian.

On Field 2, South Lafourche and Assembly Christian will begin the day at 10 a.m., while Ellender and St. Martinville will play at noon.

At 2 p.m., Ellender and Assembly Christian will meet, while at 4 p.m., Thibodaux will play St. Martinville.
