Roy Patterson, 67, a native and a resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 8:40 a.m., in Amelia.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12 at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Roy leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Barbara Johnson Patterson of Franklin; two sons, Reginald Patterson of Kenner and Brian Druilhet of Sioux City, Iowa; two daughters, Rochelle Patterson of Baton Rouge and Bridget Joseph of Beaumont, Texas; six sisters, Mrs. Henry (Barbara) Jenkins, Ruth Lightfoot, Mrs. Harry (Linda) Nerve, Evelyn Bell, Mrs. Myron (Cheryl) Moton and Cindy Lightfoot, all of Franklin; three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
