—Randall Mckee, 37, of Third Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Saturday for aggravated battery, disturbing the peace and on a warrant for a probation violation.
Police received a call to go to Third Street in regards to a disturbance. Upon arrival, they learned from the victim that she had been struck in the head with a wineglass by her boyfriend, who was identified as Mckee, the report stated. She stated that Mckee became angry at her upon her return from shopping at Walmart. She stated the argument became heated and Mckee then threw a wine glass, striking her in the head. McKee was taken to jail and held with no bail set at this time.
—Eleanor Simoneaux, 30, of Jones Street in Berwick, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Monday on a warrant for two counts issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Simoneaux at her residence on the warrant. She was released on a summons to appear in court on June 12.
—Lisa Guerrero, 31, of Vivian Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Monday on warrants for two counts of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Guerrero at her place of employment in Bayou Vista on the warrants. She was released on a summons to appear in court on June 12.
—Diego Martinez, 30, of Martin Lane in Amelia, was arrested at 3:40 a.m. Sunday for disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area observed two male subjects fighting on Martin Lane. Deputies made contact with the two men. One of the men fled the scene. The other man was identified as Martinez. Upon speaking with Martinez, the deputy detected the odor of alcohol on his breath, the report stated. Martinez was taken to the parish jail and held. He was released on $250 bail.
—Telisa Kenner, 47, of First Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Sunday for disturbing the peace by fighting.
—Patricia Kelly, 46, of Grace Street in Siracusa, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Sunday for disturbing the peace by fighting.
—Clarence Kelly, 42, of Grace Street in Siracusa, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Sunday for disturbing the peace by fighting.
—Bryan Kelly, of Grace Street in Siracusa, was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Sunday for disturbing the peace by fighting.
A deputy responded to a complaint of a large disturbance on Grace Street. During the investigation, the deputy learned that the four people were involved in a fistic encounter. All were taken to the parish jail and held. Bail for the four suspects arrested is set at $250.
Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:
—Garrett White, 39, of Maple Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 5:49 a.m. Saturday for simple battery. White was taken to jail and released after posting $692 bail.
—Maverick Marsh, 52, of Verdun Lane in Verdunville, was arrested at 8:40 a.m. Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear for careless operation and driving under suspension. Marsh was taken to jail and held. Bail was set at $502.
—Chantel Ruffin, 23, of James Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana third offense, driving under suspension, no license plate light, and on a hold for Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for speeding.
—Devon Marsh, 23, of James Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana third offense, possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance-Lortab.
Ruffin was operating a vehicle in the area of Aycock Street and La. 182 when an officer observed the vehicle license plate light not working. The officer conducted a traffic stop and Ruffin was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. The officer was given consent to search the vehicle and suspected marijuana was discovered in the ashtray, the report stated. The officer also located a pill identified as Lortab near where the passenger, Marsh, was sitting, the report stated. Both were taken to jail and held with no bail set.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
