Crouchstock 2013: Raising money for suicide prevention

BROUSSARD, La. -- Crouch Foundation is a nonprofit that has provided suicide prevention services throughout Acadiana since 2006. In 2012, the foundation educated 5,186 individuals on preventing suicide, battling depression, dealing with bullies and increasing self-esteem and resilience.

In addition, 170 individuals attended the foundation’s support group aimed at aiding those who have lost someone to suicide and the Crouch Foundation answered 81 calls related to suicide crisis or accessing local resources.

Crouchstock is a one-day music festival that provides funding for a large portion of the expenses incurred at Crouch Foundation.

Crouchstock 2013 will be held March 16 on the grounds of the Station Live in Broussard. Local talent and high school bands will fill the stage throughout the day. Sevendust is set to headline the event with additional performances by Candlelight Red and Pop Evil. Trapt will perform during the exclusive after party. Additional entertainment will be announced at a later date. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the grounds. No ice chests allowed.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. After party tickets will be available for presale only as quantities are limited. There is no age limit for the main event.
