Elaine Brown and Mark Wingerter The Morgan City USBC Bowling Association, along with Charlie’s Lanes, held the 30th Annual Mac Russo Memorial Mixed Doubles Bowling Tournament Feb. 24. It is a three-game tournament to determine qualifying standings with the top five teams bowling head to head in a stepladder format. Christine Bergeron and Donald LaCoste won the tournament as they defeated Tiffany Dejean and Deric Duplantis. Bergeron and LaCoste defeated Jennifer Vu and Anthony Falgout to advance to the finals. Hattie Lawton and David Laubach and Elaine Brown and Mark Wingerter joined Bergeron/LaCoste, Dejean/Duplantis and Vu/Falgout as the top five bowling teams that advanced to bowl head-to-head for a shot at the finals.
