Champagne picked up the mound victory, tossing five complete innings, allowing one run on five hits with five strikeouts and no walks.
Hanson struck for nine runs in the first frame, one in the second and two more in the third inning to build a 12-1 advantage after three complete innings.
On the day, the Lady Tigers scored 12 runs on 14 hits with no errors. Gueydan managed one run on five hits with no errors.

Hanson’s Diamond led the Lady Tigers in extra base hits after going 3 for 3 with a homer, triple and a double. Pillaro also ripped a homer while Champagne lined a triple with Hebert and Soulis smacking doubles.
Hanson (9-8, 4-1) will play host to Ascension Episcopal on Monday at the HMS Girls Softball Complex.
