Hanson’s Boys Golf team competed in a match at the Bayou Bend Golf Course in Crowley on Monday against ESA, Comeaux High School, and Vermilion Catholic.

ESA finished first with a team score of 175, Hanson finished second with a team score of 181, and Comeaux finished third with a score of 215.

Top finishers were Tyler Lege (VC)—36, Nick Hollier (VC)—39, Doyle Tibbs (HMS)—41 and Riley Nickel (ESA)—42.

Hanson also competed in a match at Les Vieux Chene in Lafayette on Wednesday against Acadiana High, Carencro High, and Catholic High New Iberia.

Hanson finished first with a team score of 178, Catholic High finished second with a team score of 189, Acadiana scored 216, and Carencro 237.

Top finishers were Micah Goulas (CHNI), Austin Luke (HMS), and tied for third were Bret Senette (HMS), Joshua Leger (AHS), and Seth Theriot (CHS).

Hanson’s next match will be at Muny Golf Course in Lafayette on Wednesday.
