Morgan City police looking for counterfeiter

MORGAN CITY, La. — Police are investigating a recent complaint of a man attempting to distribute counterfeit $100 bills to local businesses, according to a police news release.

Police received a complaint from a local business in which a man allegedly attempted to pass several of the bills. When confronted, he took the bills and left the business. The only description provided was a black male with a “T” marking or tattoo under his eye, the release stated.
